Marcus spent 11 years in finance before realizing he loved teaching more. Built Lab Learn because traditional courses bored him senseless. Still teaches most courses personally. Coffee addict. Terrible at small talk.

Course Designer
Former marketing strategist who got obsessed with how people actually learn. She designs every course from scratch, tests everything with real users, then throws half of it away. Perfectionist in the best way.

Our Story
Lab Learn started in 2019 when our founder got frustrated watching talented people struggle with outdated training methods. The first course had 12 participants. Small group. Lots of feedback. Over 4 years, we've taught nearly 3,400 professionals across southern Africa. We've stayed small enough to care about quality but big enough to make a real dent. Every course gets tweaked based on what actually works in the field. We've learned a ton. Our students have taught us more than any textbook could.
